The Lurgan Town Householders and Traders Index is a unique database of addresses of people who have lived and worked in Lurgan since around 1700. We'd like to thank Martin McGoldrick, Jim McIlmurray and Mary Lennon for supplying many of the records for this Index and all of those others who have contributed to it.

The term 'Householder' does not have the same connotations as it does today. This can also refer to someone who is renting the whole or a part of a property and is the head of the household at the time the register was recorded.
