of John and Anne McStravick, of North St., Lurgan.
Prior to
his enlistment John had been employed as a weaver. John had enlisted in the army reserve on 25th July 1910; he
was medically discharged as unfit for further war service on the 1st January 1917, this was due to inflammation
of the stomach, he was awarded Silver War Badge No. 107184. He died of
illness in Dublin on Saturday, 29th June 1918
