Son of Robert and Sarah M. Irwin, of 90, Edward St., Lurgan
William enlisted under-age in 1916, was sent to France in 1918, he was captured after only two days at the front, he was a prisoner of war in Dulmen, Westphalia, Germany and was repatriated in January 1919, he fell ill and died of diabetes in Belfast on 16 May 1919.
